I am facing an issue with microsoft office 2013 on windows 8 laptop.

It has two accounts configured on it and few psts mapped on it. Every time i open outlook it opens in work offline mode.

AS soon as i open the psts mapped with the account,its stops respoding and crashes.

T/S that i have tried..

1. Tried repairing the accounts. no go.

2.Tried remapping the psts. no go.

3.Option for cache mode is greyed out so i was not able to try that.

4.Tried opening in Safe mode. no go.

5. the option in more settings in email account to select the desired network are not there.

Please suggest.

If we click the Work Offline button under Send/Receive tab, does this issue continue after a reboot of Outlook?

How did you set your send/receive interval under Send/Receive tab > Send/Receive Groups > Define Send/Receive Groups? If the option is set at a long interval, or if you know your server's time-out interval, type a lower number in the box and then test the issue again.

In addition, after doing some research, I found that some of other customer who have the similar issue solved it by creating a new mail profile. Please have a try and check if the issue persists. We don't need to remove the original profile. If a new mail profile doesn't fix the issue, it means the issue isn't with the profile, then we can just change back to the original one.
